Educational Value

The Manhattan Youth Symphony exists to educate and inspire young instrumental musicians through high-quality musical experiences in an orchestral setting. Each fall, our students participate in a retreat that is a concentrated time for skill-building and an opportunity for the students to coalesce in spirit, in friendship, and in musical growth. Students learn from expert musicians, participate in team-building and leadership activities, and perform for families and retreat personnel.
