Classes at the Tamara Howe School of Dance run from September 5th, 2023 to May 18th, 2024. We offer classes in the range of 5 - 18 years old in ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling and performance companies. Students enroll in the number of classes desired and attend class once a week where they receive instruction and feedback from our trained faculty. Our faculty is certified in CPR/First Aid, through our children’s syllabus called Leap N’ Learn and attend yearly training in child development, safety, and their respective techniques they teach. All of our faculty are adult instructors. Students spend most of the year learning their respective technique requirements from our syllabus and a portion of the year preparing for our Spring Showcase in which we showcase their skills and talents. Students do require a certain dress code for class including leotard, tights and specific dance shoes for their genre of class. Our dance classrooms are designed for student safety in regards to flooring.
