Educational Value
Do you have a child that is between the ages of 13 & 18 or grades 8 - 12? We have the perfect Summer Camp for them. The Youth Educational Empowerment Program (YEEP) has a summer camp that is starting on July 10 through July 31st on Mon. - Thurs. from 10 am - 3 pm at Towne West Square Mall at the YEEP Training Center. We teach students life skills that will help them be empowered and productive members of society as they grow through the program. Our core subject is Financial Literacy, however we also teach them Business Etiquette, Journalism, & Media Arts. Our goal is for the students that come through our program to learn skills that will help them be able to create good savings habits, set savings goals, and be able to modify or adapt that goal to life events. They will be able to interview with potential employers with confidence and a solid resume and foundation behind them. Snacks and lunch are provided daily and transportation can be arranged.
