My name is Jamelle, and I have a been a Special Education Teacher for the State of Kansas since 2008, serving the northeast areas, grades K-12. I offer my tutoring services via sole-proprietorship as an independent contractor. I currently work as a Special Education teacher for the Basehor-Linwood School District, part time. My position as a Special Educator has required me to refine my skills in differentiation for student needs, progress monitoring and reporting, and creating specialized materials, lessons, and learning units for student across all subjects and grade levels. The Majority of my experience is in the elementary settings and in the specialized program settings, teaching classes within a class. Outside of the public school system, I utilize my teaching to I provide academic and behavioral services for students, as well as consultation for parents with students with disabilities.
