Educational Value

Music Theatre Wichita provides classes and summer day camps for students. These are musical theatre focused, and campers sing, dance, and act. The camps are designed to fuel imagination and learning through imaginative play - campers do not need to have previous dance training or singing instruction to have a positive experience. Education value includes the following: Repeated readings is one of the most effective ways to increase students' reading fluency. Students have the incredible opportunity to improve their reading fluency while in the camp setting, experiencing plot and character development as they bring characters to life onstage.
